How Cris Hôtel protects data related to enquiries and bookings.

Data, purposes and legal bases
When you voluntarily contact the hotel by telephone or email, Cris Hôtel SAS processes the contact details and information you provide to answer your enquiry and prepare, manage or fulfil your booking. This processing is based on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract or on performance of the contract.
Information needed for invoicing and compliance with accounting or tax requirements is processed to meet the company's legal obligations. Technical server logs may contain the IP address, date, requested resource and browser information. They are used to secure the website, diagnose incidents and prevent abuse, based on the company's legitimate interest in protecting its service.
Cookies and audience measurement
This website does not use Google Analytics or GA4 and sets no cookies, including advertising cookies. It uses only Umami Cloud to produce simple traffic statistics and improve content and booking journeys.
The integration measures page views and selected clicks on call, directions, booking and contact buttons. Umami may produce aggregate statistics about referrers, browsers, operating systems, device types and countries. The provider states that the tool uses no cookies, device fingerprinting or cross-site tracking and anonymises collected data. The request sent to Umami nevertheless provides the technical information needed to operate the service. No advertising tool or session recording is integrated into this website.
This measurement is based on Cris Hôtel SAS's legitimate interest in understanding website traffic and improving its content. See Umami's privacy policy for more information.
Bookings and external links
Only when you submit it, the availability form sends stay dates and the number of guests directly to the Reservit booking engine. Hotel and restaurant bookings and mapping services open on external websites governed by their own privacy policies. Apart from the Umami audience measurement described above, this website sends them no data before your click or voluntary form submission.
Recipients
Data is available only to authorised Cris Hôtel staff and, within the scope of their duties, its hosting, audience measurement, booking, payment, email and technical providers. It may also be disclosed to authorities where required by law. Cris Hôtel SAS does not sell personal data.
Retention and transfers
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for no more than three years after the last contact. Stay data is kept throughout the contractual relationship, then archived for legal claims, generally five years. Accounting records are kept for ten years. Technical logs are kept for no more than twelve months unless needed to investigate a security incident.
Analytics retention depends on the Umami Cloud plan and account settings; Cris Hôtel SAS keeps this period under review. Umami Software, Inc. operates servers in the European Union and the United States. Its data processing agreement provides for the European Commission's standard contractual clauses where required.
Your rights
Depending on the processing concerned, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent. To exercise your rights, email resa@crishotel.fr or write to Cris Hôtel SAS, 82 rue Louis Pradel, 69960 Corbas, France. We will respond within the period required by the GDPR; proof of identity will be requested only if there is reasonable doubt about your identity.
You may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL).
